Miniature Halloween Potion Labels – Free Printable

Today we’re getting into the spirit of Halloween (lol!) and have created some free printable miniature Halloween potion labels that you can use in your own dioramas and photos. You could also use the labels for your Halloween table.

The miniature Halloween potion labels measure approximately 2.5cm (1″) wide and fit those tiny bottles you can often find at the dollar store.

The PDF comes with some spooky label ideas already, that you can just cut out and glue to your bottles. There are also some blank labels for you to dream up your own spooky ingredients to use in magical, ‘make-believe’ spells.

The labels I came up with are:

  • Dragon Blood
    – Fill the bottle with metallic, ruby-red nail polish or red glitter and clear glue
  • Faerie Tears
    – Fill the bottle with gold glitter nail polish or gold glitter and clear glue
  • Frog Bile
    – For the photo I filled the bottle with green food colouring and water
  • Unicorn Snot
    – For the photo I filled the bottle with glue and silver glitter
  • Poison Ivy
  • Butterfly Wings
  • Cat Whiskers
  • Mermaid Fins
  • Snake Venom
  • Spider Eyes
  • Acorns
  • Deadly Nightshade
  • Elm Bark
  • Spider Venom
  • Unicorn Horns

I’d love to hear what you come up with for your own Halloween potion labels.

*Be careful using toxic ingredients around small children and keep them out of reach to prevent poisoning. Alternatively, fill the bottles with something safe to eat.

PS Do you like my spooky doll in the main photo? She’s an Ebony Neo Blythe doll. Blythe dolls inspired me to get into miniatures for photoshoots back in 2008. You can learn more about Blythe dolls here.

Free Halloween Fonts

I used a font called Blackadder ITC Regular for my labels. I think you can still download it for free. The site has a large range of free Halloween fonts you can download. The UX of the site is pretty terrible these days with ads everywhere so watch where you click…consider it your own spooky adventure!
